Glatzová & Co. changes its name to GLATZOVA s.r.o., advokátní kancelář

Prague, 1 October 2026 – After 32 years, the law firm Glatzová & Co. is changing its corporate name to GLATZOVA s.r.o., advokátní kancelář. The change reflects the natural evolution of the firm, which has grown from a small practice established in 1994 into an established team operating in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

The change concerns the firm’s corporate name only. Its team, ownership structure, offices and legal services remain unchanged.

“When I founded the firm in 1994, I called it Glatzová & Co. because I was on my own and wanted it to look as though there were more of us. Well, today there are enough of us that we no longer really need the ‘& Co.’,” says founding partner Vladimíra Hrabánek Glatzová.

After 32 years, she says, the firm’s name is no longer associated with one person, but with the team as a whole.

“It is not Glatzová and everyone else. The name Glatzová has become a respected brand defined above all by quality and reliability. Behind the Glatzová brand today are eight partners, 50 lawyers and trainees, our managing director and our support team. And even though we have grown considerably, we still stand by our motto: ‘We are not a legal factory.’ We are lawyers who look for tailored solutions for every client,” adds Vladimíra  Hrabánek Glatzová.

The new name, GLATZOVA s.r.o., advokátní kancelář, therefore puts the brand itself at the centre – a brand that, over more than three decades, has become a name shared by the entire team.

“For us, the name change is above all a symbolic step. It is not a new beginning, but a natural continuation of the story we started writing in 1994,” concludes the founding partner.
